Thursday- Saturday, the festival will have a series of conversations i different hairdressers in Helsingør.

The conversations will be hosted by the French philosopher GUILLAUME PAOLI in collaboration with the Swedish acitivist AMERICA VERA-ZAVALA.

The conversations will revolve aorund our modern cultural divide in society between those wh participate and those who do not. Aorund the distances between rich and poor, Trump fans and vegans.

During the last decades, culture has undergone an enormous development: From being a relatively free, independent part of society and the market towards a position in society as an instumental value – especially art festivals.

SATURDAY 3 AUGUST: AMERICA VERA-ZAVALA will host a meeting with some of the female artists at the festival, in a conversation about feminist artistic strategies.

Whether you listen to music with an intellectual ear or with a pair of dancing feet, Umpas will get you out of the chair!
Umpas’ music is inspired by klezmer, men borrows without any inhabitions (or prejudice) from balkan, polka, reggae, surf and a lot of other good stuff from both East and West.

Two eccentric operators with a portable radio apparatus on an itinerant exploration through the city in search of a radio frequency.

A phony broadcast evolves through a continues change of humorous caricatures that portrays what is transmitted through your radio-tele-phony and media today.


The public will surely be better off leaving the control of the media in the hands of the Brunette Bros. clowns, in a show that is bound to be trouble; with live music, grotesque satire and guarantied laughter cramps.

Tobia Circus presents an innovative show where ordinary brooms lead us in the absurd world of Philip Sutil, a thin and nimble gentleman who loves dancing.

This smart character is fascinated by the idea of “equilibrium” and wants to challenge gravity and steal lightness in order to share it with his public.

This is a show of balancing and clownerie with a surreal note where twists and unexpected turns follow one another.

A man lugs a suitcase around. Out of it he pulls a one-hour long performance with only a few elements. A rope to dance with.  Another masquerading as a snake. 9 Rat traps and an almost animate fish.

Through a combination of circus, dance and object theatre, the audience is led through a minimalistic performance which marries the playful world of the clown with the nightmarish suspense of a horror film.

The performance is a summary of material from different performances united to make a solo show, which invites you into a minimalistic and poetic world, accompanied by cassette player and an old megaphone.
