Volunteer at PASSAGE

Become a volunteer at PASSAGE Festival / Helsingør
Do you want to meet artists from all over Europe?
Experience some of the 50 performances on the festival?
Meet other volunteers and join a festival, that kind of makes you not want to go home?
Then you should become a volunteer at PASSAGE Festival!
Volunteer tasks could be:
-
Helping artists setting up and packing down shows
-
Helping with performance execution
-
Distributing programs in the city
-
Handling audiences/receiving tickets for performances with entrance
-
Guiding “rolling” performances through the streets
-
Acting as an extra – for example in 2025: passagefestival.nu/performance/sfumato/
-
Being one of the hosts at the spectacular Luminarium: MYRIAD by Architects of Air
-
Handing out audience surveys for selected performances
-
Handing out programmes, flyers and smiles
The festival has a variety of languages, but anyone can get by with a bit of English, Danish or sign language!
Does this sound exciting to you?
Then you should become a volunteer at PASSAGE FESTIVAL!
The festival takes place annually in late July / early August – but preparations and build-up begin in the weeks before.
In Helsingør, we need a strong team of volunteers to help make the festival happen – both before and during the event.
We welcome everyone – from those who can only take a single shift to those who want to be deeply involved throughout the entire festival. Be prepared that plans might change, and last-minute tasks can arise.
As a volunteer you’ll receive:
- A festival wristband giving access to all performances at PASSAGE Festival
- T-shirts and merchandise
- Free coffee, tea, and of course meals during your volunteer shifts
- A chance to mingle with other volunteers, staff, and artists at the festival’s opening at Toldkammergården
- A festive closing party on Saturday night
- Cozy evening hangouts in Toldkammeret every day, where you can meet artists, staff, and fellow volunteers
- … and from time to time, you’ll also be invited to performances at Helsingør Teater throughout the year 😉
Would you like to know more about the tasks – or are you ready to say YES?
