ROOM is a time-specific and immersive performance for one audience member at a time, co-created by 3 performers and you. Using voices, soundscapes and music, a story is improvised with you, in response to your imagination. In Remote Room the performers are located in London and Singapore and you are here in Helsingør. There are no limits to where the story will go.
Remote Room is part of ‘b y p a s s‘ at the PASSAGE Festival. A platform where selected artists are given the opportunity to experiment with formats for art in the public space.

Under en tid med ekonomisk tillväxt arbetade han outtröttligt som man förväntade sig av män i dessa tider, och i minnet av hennes barndom var han ständigt frånvarande hemifrån. Japan som land är fyllt av kontraster. Världen vittnar om de starka kulturella traditionerna, men också den västerländska påverkan som har skapat mycket av en sammansättning i det moderna Japan..

THE FURTIVES are like foxes. Clever, adaptable, solitary and shy, they flee from large crowds. They live on the outskirts of the city and find their way into the center. After laying low, it’s time to start moving again.

A furtive man has come to town to play his oldest, favourite game. He walks, moves, floats, shouts and finally dares to do something. He feels inspired.

A group of dancers appear. They take the first step.
Around, aside and in co-existence with the dance, the ordinary life continues. The performance invites for a (non-verbal) conversation about the presence of the body, dance and composition in public spaces, where the audience is invited into the creative, choreographic space.
In Instant Compositions the borders between the dancing body and the city’s architecture is blurred, leaving an instant choreographic footprint in space and time.

1Watt company has been creating performances for public spaces for many years, using play as a way of exploring and listening – always in collaboration with the people who live and move through these spaces
Now they are taking their playful explorations to the spaces we have all been moving in this spring: into nature.
1Watt frays a path between the old and the new, they find a different point of view, build a temporary shelter and take care of each other. They walk through the fields and woods of Hellebæk, build shelters, dance, fish and take care of each other.
They create a unique performance trough exploring and playing with the surroundings, by themselves and with each other.
And in the end, we are no longer alone, out there in nature, but together again

STARTING POINT: Around Bøssemagergade 72 (in the turn of the road). There will be signs.
ARRIVE WITH TRAIN: From Elsinore station you can take the ‘Lokalbane’ (lokal train) toward Gilleleje. Stop at Hellebæk station and you will reach the destination after approx. 10 minutes walk. You can use the Travel Plan-website to plan your trip.
ARRIVE BY BICYCLE: We encourage you to arrive by bike. You can access the starting point by both ends of the road.
ARRIVE BY CAR: You can access the starting point via the entrance from Strandvejen. We encourage you to park by Hammermøllem or Hellebæk Station – be aware though, that there is limited parking spaces available. Come by bike or train, if you can!
Kompani Hint is a new cirkus group based in Malmö and Copenhagen and tour around Sweden and Europe. During 45 minutes you get to make different materials to juggle with and learn how to use them. Both with balls and other things that you get to take with you to continue practise at home. Try out games, acrobatics without physical contact and make big bubbles out of soap with a rope or with your hands.

An insect orchestra on tour visit the people for the first time to perform their cabaret. After a while we discover that the insect orchestra is sent out by the council of insects, who rule the world of all insects. They need our help to understand how to stay alive, happy and buzzing and create diversity in our world. Who can be of better help – than the children?
