The performer takes the audience on a reflective and liberating journey through the captivating powers of laughter.

Secrets are exciting. They are whispered to our ears, they are discovered through a keyhole, or sometimes, they are revealed when unlocking a box. The heart always beats faster when you are about to know a secret. It may be the ending of a story or the solution of a hidden enigma.

“SECRETS” is the last uncanny proposals from the Catalan company Tombs Creatius. It is a participative and sensorial installation that gets built on as people interact and play.

Revealed Secret, visual experience and interactive games will guide you to the center of our cozy yurt to live an unforgettable and intimate experience about the concept of secrecy and what does generate in each of us. Shhh! Keep the secret.

Homo Økonomikus is an exploration of the modern individual and its economy in a time of crisis. In Homo Økonomikus we meet the white, privileged man CHRISTIAN in the middle of his life. He is full of good intentions but feels that he cannot succeed in a society where those in power only seek growth. Therefore, with a Danske Bank branch as scenography, he confronts his inner economic person. With Homo Økonomikus, The Department reflects on the future of humanity together with the audience through a personal economical narrative.

Do artists depend on their audience? Of course, they do. Without the public there would be no show and vice versa. But… can they depend physically too?

This is the challenge of Miguel Rubio. His staging literally relies on the collaboration of his audience. Through their bodies and their gaze, 8 people become part of the scenery and support him throughout the show, if they chose to offer their support.

This singular mix of disciplines such as Chinese Pole, dance, theatre, and humor hides many surprises, and it flows and develops into a tragicomedy covering a few unexpected events.

Miguel Rubio created this unique staging structure, which completely relies on the public, to make his dream come true: performing the Chinese pole on the street. The result is a show which has the magic power to bring the pole anywhere for anyone to enjoy.

Through the Wall takes you on a walk through the urban landscape and shows you the city from a new angle. You follow three dancers, who appear and disappear constantly, as they explore and move playfully with the architecture as a dancing partner, making you feel the tempo of the city and the softness of the body on the hard concrete. Bodies clash against walls, melt down stairways and roll through grass as the audience rediscover the particular beauty hidden in this accumulation of concrete, iron, bones, and flesh that we call the city.

A sculpture that is created by you, the participating audience: through instructions given through headphones, you will be a part of a larger choreographic system, moving objects, creating formations, and shaping the space between you.

The choreographic system in BOXED is inspired by programming language and the choreographic organization of software systems.

BOXED reflects upon what kind of systems we take part in in society – practically, socially, politically, and personally – and what kind of rules and dynamics that requires.

No performance experience is needed to participate in BOXED, however, as a member of the audience, you will be physically active in the creation of this performance.
