Miss Margherita
Flour dust rises, tomatoes roll, dough stretches in the air. Out of this kitchen chaos steps Miss Margherita: part clown, part cook, part storyteller. With a rolling pin in one hand and a yellow bicycle at her side, she spins recipes into confessions, juggling ingredients as easily as memories.
Miss Margherita is a tragicomic performance that turns the making of pizza into theatre. Through acrobatics, juggling, physical theatre and comic timing, Jessica Arpin creates a character who is both absurd and deeply human. The stage becomes her kitchen, but also her diary: a place where recipes mingle with stories of misfortune, longing and love.
Without heavy words, Miss Margherita carries audiences into her world, where laughter and fragility coexist in a way that feels at once intimate and larger than life.
