Radio Merkur (DK)

Charming pop songs and good, old-fashioned robbery stories in Toldkammergården.

Radio Merkur live is a experience with smiles, a warm atmosphere and a community on stage that spreads among the audience. It’s all carried by a joy of playing, and their “Spillemands Svanesang”, has a chorus that could just as well have been the band’s motto: “Sing along, hang on, play loose”.

ABOUT THE BAND

Radio Merkur consists of Nikolaj Wolf on contrabass, M.C. Hansen on guitar, Jens Jepsen on guitar and Jacob Chano on keyboards and drums, and as a band they deliver charming pop songs and good, old-fashioned robbery stories. They offer songs that touch the audience, and lyrics that go straight into a reflection about life and love and the meaning of it all. It is hope and optimism that carry the melodies when the four gentlemen find the rhythm of the soft contrabass and the guitar
