One Shot
Two men, two brothers, friends stroll around occupying themselves peacefully. Slowly out of their investigative and curious nature, a play with objects, space and body arise. Music is born when apple pieces are thrown around in the air, seeming accidentally land in the mouth of a frantic guitarist. They push each other to ever wilder challenges – until one of them becomes the target.
To the rhythm of live music, dance and acrobatics melt together with axe throwing, flying apples and Chinese pole in a unique test of balance and precision – spiced with the unpredictability of things. Cool as blues, heavy as rock, this is circus with a hint of freedom.
About the company
Maxime Dautremont and Foucauld Falguerolles met in 2003 in Brussels where they trained circus. Acrobatics & juggling for Maxime, and Chinese Pole for Foucauld. They started a very good friendship.
