In the backstage room, we meet an old variety artist. Sitting in front of the mirror, he stares at his own reflection. He looks at a face, he cannot recognize, and the room begins to take on a will of its own.
As the artist battles chronic insecurity and a failing memory, he desperately tries to stay in character. But time has left its mark, and the magic of the theatre slowly pulls him away from reality.
