Alive

Acting for Climate (NO) + Stretching Roots (DK)
The tree, the centre of our world

When was the last time you lay beneath a tree and let yourself drift away among its branches?

The sensory outdoor performance ALIVE brings the tree’s majestic sculpture to life to the human imagination. The audience sits gathered around a large tree. With roots beneath us and the canopy above, we are enveloped by a 360° soundscape. Gradually, bodies begin to emerge within the crown of the tree, and an aesthetic journey between human and tree unfolds.

At the intersection of dance and contemporary circus, ALIVE places the tree back at the centre of our world.

ALIVE will premiere at Passage Festival.
