You can participate in the performance activities every 20 minutes from 11:00
Each round has room for 8 participants.

We owe our lives to these unseen heroes and it is time to pay tribute to them.

PlanktonPower is an interactive journey and performative workshop; via art, theatre and science you will be guided through a fascinating experience.

The SeaGuard Tower is inspired by a lifeguard tower; a base for lifeguards on the beach. But instead of focusing on the safety of bathers, The SeaGuard Tower focuses on the safety and well-being of the sea and its organisms. This art pæroject will travel through five coastal towns over the summer, with a final even at PASSAGE Festival.

A unique and creative journey

The first chapter of the Seaguard Tower, PlanktonPower, is an interactive journey where you will be guided through a fascinating experience via art, theater, and science:

  • Dive into the hidden life beneath the sea’s surface in our artistic laboratory
  • Explore the many forms of plankton in the creative workshop and cast your own unique physical imprint
  • Finally, in a collective act, add your plankton casting to a symbolic circle on the beach

The Artwork Grows, and You Can Be a Part of It

On the third day, we gather for a festive conclusion; experience an enchanting atmosphere with live music, dance, and voices from the place itself as the final plankton casting is added to the circle. The plankton forms travel with us, and the circle grows larger and larger with each coastal city, becoming a vast collective artwork. You can witness the final conclusion at the PASSAGE festival.
