In Follow Me, two circus-chameleons interpret the public space.
The duo invites you to become part of the followers and discover the city in a unique way. The streets of the neighborhood are transformed into a stage with the facades as backdrop, the cobbles as dance carpet and the traffic as soundscape.
Follow Me is the first production of Be Flat.
An acrobatic show that is rewritten per location. A continuous adaptation process where the environment is the determining factor.
For an optimal experience, you are asked to switch off smartphones and to tie shoelaces properly.

About the company
Be Flat is a Ghent circus company founded by Ward Mortier and Thomas Decaesstecker. The mix of acrobatic circus with urban sports ensures the uniqueness of Be Flat. Be Flat is the chameleon among circus performers. By responding to the surroundings, each performance becomes a unique event. As residents of the city environment, we question public space, viewing the city as a living organism, in constant change. How do we use this common area? Who are we in today’s street scene?
