Wilma Version presents:
S.O.S.– is a Swedish-Danish cabaret performance that takes place simultaneously on two ferries between Helsingborg and Elsinore. With humor and poetry, focuses on the Swedish-Danish friendship and their challenges as neighboring countries in a global contemporaries.
S.O.S, is the occasion not only a disaster announcement, but stands for S.how O.ver S.undet (the sea)and played out in three acts, which can be experienced with start from both sides of the strait.On the ferry Tycho Brahe local radio amateurs play on keyboards and accompany singing and dancing with musical morse-beats. The soundtrack radiotransmitteres to the ferry Aurora, where the material is processed into a spatial sound experience. First and third act takes place on the two ferries, while the second act takes place in the vestibule between the two departures.The show is a collaboration between Helle Fuglsang (Dk) and Nils Viberg (S).S.O.S is the second in a series of projects where Morse and modern technology processed performative and put in an artistic context.
